The Adventure – Escape from the Underdark

After being captured in a night surface raid by Drow Slavers, things are looking bleak for the Aasimar Druid, Human Fighter, and Halfling Ranger. As their metal cage descends deeper into the darkness of the underworld, day by day, any hope of rescue fades. Especially as they overhear their captors talking, because within a few days time they’ll pass from the wilds of the Underdark into the well-stalked lands that serve as the Drow’s territory, and be held in a Drow outpost until they’re sold at auction…

But wait! One of the Drow guides keeps looking the party over, almost evaluating them… Comparing them and their possible strengths against the current Drow Slavers that are present. This specific Drow also continues to carefully note their surroundings, almost as if waiting for a specific area or a specific moment…

Realizing that their time is quickly running out, a decision of self-preservation had to be made. Now, against all odds, the Drow Rogue will try to release the very prisoners they just captured in hopes that together they all might escape from the bleak Underdark and into the freer world above. But can the recently captured Druid, Fighter and Ranger really trust their initial captor, and now possible savior? Or will the faint prospect of freedom overwhelm any other feelings that might be present, especially when that prospect leads through the ruins of the infamously crazed Kuo-Toa.
