Greetings and welcome to the 2025 Dicefell Tournament
The Dicefell Tournament is the largest Dungeons & Dragons tournament in Atlantic Canada. Our focus is on gaming, having fun, rolling dice, and losing yourself in a fully prepared adventure for hours of fun, and prizes…. did we mention prizes? Oh my, do we have prizes! Table prizes, raffle prizes and of course, prize packages for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. And for these, each prize package has 4 of each item, so every member of your team gets one of everything. No need to share!

About the Tournament
Multiple teams play at the same time, and our volunteer DM’s run the games. DFT Overlords are always present and can help with rules and decision making if the party becomes stuck! We also have our DFT Store present, selling awesome TTRPG products which we’ve collected from all around the world, and a canteen for your snacking needs.
How are the teams ranked? Every tournament adventure has critical mission tasks; these are worth the most points. Defeating bosses and achieving new areas are worth the second most points. And then finding hidden treasures, traps and handling the lesser foes are worth some points. The system is designed to award the most points to highly efficient teams that defeat foes quickly, use their skills and abilities well, and stay focused on the mission. And yes, there will be efforts to throw the party off course, so pay attention! Our great DM’s rank each team and then we provide the list of the top 3 teams. If you want to know your ranking, just ask us.
But what if you’re new to the game or perhaps not interested in ranking high? That’s great! Our DM’s are prepared for elite groups as well as elite newbs. The adventures contain equal amounts of fun as serious. So play as you like and have a great time, that’s what the D.F.T. is all about!
Overlords
Our team of Overlords work in the background to make sure the event runs smoothly. On game day, an overlord will greet you at the door, help you to your table, and be available to answer any questions you have. During the game, Overlords will roam the tables taking photos and be available to address any rule dispute – what the overlords say goes!
2025 Dungeon Masters
Each team will be paired with a DM for the the duration of the game. Our volunteer DMs go through a rigorous screening process and help play-test the adventure ahead of game-day, to ensure they’re skilled and knowledgeable in running the module and dealing with whatever shenanigans the players try to pull on the adventure.
Dungeon Masters walk away from the event with merchandise bundles comparable to the tournament prize packages. If you’re interested in volunteering as a DM for this year or future years, please email dicefelltournament@gmail.com.
